Chiante reached out to me a few  weeks ago after finding out I was a photographer. She stated she wanted some branding portraits for the website of her business. Chiante is a personal financial coach for individuals and couples in Charlotte, NC. I have known Chiante for several years through her mother so when she reached out to me I was ecstatic. She explained her vision for the session to me and I provided additional ideas to enhance the experience. There are several great photographers in Charlotte but she put her trust in me and traveled to Columbia for her session.

The first location was indoor at the Richland County Public Library on Assembly Street in downtown Columbia. The day before I scoped out the location that would provide a desk look. Chiante came prepared with her laptop, business cards, calculator and a notepad. At this location, we created an office environment for some photos. We also were able to capture some headshots as well. 

The final location was conducted downtown on Main Street. We spotted an outdoor dining location at Starbucks. During this time we were able to laugh and have fun while capturing additional portraits. One thing I enjoyed about this session was we were able to talk about everything from her family, finances, food and our businesses. In the end, we were able to create portraits for her website and her social media accounts. I am excited to see the growth of her business.
