Chandra C. Senior Session | Columbia SC

The senior portraits have changed since I graduated and now you can finally show your personality. I will cut to the chase and let you know that this session may be one of my favorite portrait sessions this year. Chandra was so easy and fun to work with during her session.

Chandra reached out to me a few weeks away from graduating from the University of South Carolina Aiken for her senior portraits. She was about to walk across the stage to receive her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. After our phone consultation, we decided to have her images taken at the South Carolina State House in downtown Columbia. The State House is one of my favorite locations for portrait sessions because it has some beautiful architecture and landscaping.

She was a natural in front of the camera and came looking like a million bucks. Chandra’s first outfit was a beautiful off-the-shoulder white dress and her second outfit was a tomato red dress that complimented her skin complexion. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. so we wore her sororities graduation stole for some of her images. She also came with a customized graduation cap with pearls, flowers, and a biblical scripture “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.“ (Jeremiah 29:11).

Jeremiah 29:11

Recently in June, she passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is officially a registered nurse. Chandra recently moved to Houston, Texas to begin her career as a Neonatal ICU nurse. I am positive her patients will be in great hands. I am so excited to see what the future holds for Chandra and wish her the best in her career.
